What are some good 1TB HDD that work well in Raid 1 and raid in general?

Looking at reviews it looks like WD hdd are not good for Raid arrays, even their dedicated hdd for Raid just have a slower time for error recovery, as it looks like...
"RAID-specific, time-limited error recovery (TLER) - Prevents drive fallout caused by the extended hard drive error-recovery processes common to desktop drives. "

Anyways Samsung seems to have good hdd

Any drive is good for RAID. There are some drives marketed as RAID editions with tweaked firmware but it is more marketing then actual performance.

As for looking at those 2 Seagate drives-always go for the later drives over older drives, should not be looking at 7200.11 at all. Newer drives are faster and more energy efficient.
