Can someone please explain to me what the difference between Auto and Normal is with some of the BIOS settings for Gigabyte motherboards? I have an EP45-DS3R and am curious whether I should have the MCH voltage set at "Auto" or "Normal" and what the difference is between the two. If anyone knows, please reply...thanks.

My guess is that "auto" will automatically boost the voltage as you increase the FSB (frowned on by us control-freaks), while "normal" keeps it at the standard voltage. You'll have to check with Gigabyte to be sure.

I'll try to give them a call this week sometime although past experience has revealed that they aren't all that helpful. If I find something I'll definitely post so that others know. Right now I have everything on Auto.
