I am very new to reading processor speeds and tempuratures and everything, but could someone just tell me if this is a good tempurature or not?

My Processor is a Q9450:
System: 39C
CPU:40C
AUX: 11C
Core 0: 50C
Core 1: 42C
Core 2: 45C
Core 3: 45C

Depends on whether or not the temps are correct (what program are you using to read them?).
Depends on what the CPU is doing (is this at idle?).

I'm using speed fan and it wasn't at idle i don't think. What do you consider as idle?

Try using realtemp. "Idle" is when the system is just sitting at the Windows desktop, without any user apps running.
