Recently I built a PC (well 4 months ago)
And My motherboard and video card went good together, worked perfectly actually..

Then one day I booted my PC up and got a 7f error beep code..
So I fooled around and tried a new video card out and it worked... once I got rid of my old video card

So my motherboard is a
EVGA Nforce 690I SLI
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188013

and my video card is

ASUS Geforce 9600
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121242

So a guy that is working on servicing my PC and helped built it.. Cannot RMA the video card back to Newegg to get a new one so I could atleast sell it..
And hes asking me to pick out a new video card..

And I am not exactly the biggest tech savvy guy and I dont have the knowledge background of doing soo
So I was curious as to what you guys thought....Should I try another of the same card.. Or what should i get and I cant find any sites that list a complete series of PCI express cards that would do the job..

If it helps. I most play computer games such as:
Team Fortress 2
World of Warcraft
Oblivion
Crysis

.Thanks.
Paul.

It was probably just the card that went bad or even your psu.
Can you list your pc specs, amps on the powersupply's +12v line and the resolution you game at
