Hello everybody,
I am planning to build a gaming pc, but still debating on which memory and which gpu to get?!
CPU q6600
HARD DRIVE WD 500 GB
PSU 700W OCZ GAMEXSTREAM
SOME DVD BURNER
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro HEATSINK
NZXT CASE (ALREADY HAVE IT FROM AN OLD BUILD)
PROBABLY WILL GO WITH 4 gb of G.SKILL RAM ( WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DDR2 800 AND DDR2 1066? Does the speed of the ram has to do with the speed of the fsb of processor which is 1066mhz?
I am still debating between 9800GX2 and 280GTX which one is better, both are 1gb. Also if i go with with ddr2 800 what is a good mobo for my build or if i go with ddr2 1066 what would be a supporting mobo? Any thoughts would be really apreciated

If you are planning on staying with a single video card then I would suggest a P45 board like the Asus P5Q series

I would wait a week or two and see how the 4870x2 performs when it's released and what happens to the prices of the cards you mentioned.
