Hey everyone, i'm soon to be one of many i7 920 owner and i'll oc this little baby. I currently own a Sunbeam core contact freezer which is very good with my C2D. They sell a bracket for it to fit the core i7.

Anyone tried the Sunbeam core contact with i7?

Thoughts anyone else?

Cheers.

I honestly wouldn't know. However, if you do get to try the Subbeam with the i7 920, you can share with us your findings ;)

Oh, and congrats on your i7 purchase. What are your rig's specs?

Waiting, it's easter time so friday and monday no delivery... Plus i'll have to put the i7 stock heatsink for a while i guess because i bought the adapter for the Core Contact off ebay and it's 2 weeks shipping (more or less). I'll post temp differences between stock and core contact once i have the bracket.

Enjoy the ccf. Hope it works out for you. I just strapped one on to my Phenom II and hope to test it out after my hard drive format is done.
