Multiple hdds

I want to have 2 vraptor 150 gigs running my os in raid 1 but want to also set up 3 1tb hdds in raid 5 mode is this even possible??

It depends on whether the motherboard or RAID card you're using has 5 SATA connectors on it (I'm assuming you're referring to SATA and not IDE). If so, then most RAID solutions I know can support multiple RAID volumes with different organizations.

Yes that is possible with SATA. Put those raptors in RAID 0, unless you are really worried about redundancy.

waiting on my msi eclipse so sata slots check and as for the redundancy i know the vraptors will prolly outlive me but ive been pwned by my os hdd one time to many and rebuilding a terra is dang long. thanks for the input very helpful
