After the promotional code, both PSU are the same price. Which one is better do you guys think? Besides the obvious warranty difference, is one better than the other? Thanks.
I'd definitely go for the BP550. It's modular, has more amps on the +12v rails, has a 6 and 8 pin PCI-e power, has more SATA plugs, and a longer MTBF. I really don't understand why it's cheaper than the other one.

I'm installing the BP550 in a micro build tonight. I'm using a G35 MB and an e8400 with 2 HDs and 2 opticals drives. The modular cabling should work well and the unit should have plenty of power on the 12v. for the 8600GT I will use. Looks like a good enough unit with more than adequate power for that price, which I paid too. I'm hoping it is reasonably quiet.
