my cpu (q6600) is overclocked to 3.44-3.52 (which ever i choose) and i ran prime 95, then cputemp and it was between 40C-60C is that bad? and my cpu temp display on my case says 26C so i always thought i was good, but cputemp gives me a different reading. help

If you're keeping it under 60 during load, you're totally fine. I've got a q6600 at 3.3 and it stays under 50-55 during load and it's been chuggin along without a hiccup for a good while.

try intelburn test v1.9 if you can pass this test your pc is stable.run realtemp and look at temp,i have a q6600 running at 3.6GHz and when running this test i hit 70c under load with water cooling lol
