Hi,

I am currently building my own PC, and I am not sure which Power Supply to get. However, I have found 2 which I like but I'm not sure which one I should get.

Power Supply 1 (Being Pulled towards this one): http://www.ebuyer.com/product/135197

Power Supply 2: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124927

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Neither, stick with brands like

Antec
Coolmax
Enermax
Fortron
FSP
OCZ
PC P&C
Seasonics
Tagan
Thermaltake
TTGI (Super Flower)
Zippy

You're best bet is to stick with known brands so you don't fry all your precious innards. www.hardocp.com has a pretty extensive PSU test base, they have lots of good, bad, and ugly PSU's reviewed under their belt.

Sorry for double post. Take a look at this link for a tiered breakdown of PSU brands. Take a look at it. http://forums.firingsquad.com/firi [...] .id=111309

that depends what components are going to be in your pc.... if its 2x 280's in sli then no :p, however for a more reasonable set up it is almost certainly fine

No, Just a 8600GT. Do you think it'll handle a Core 2 Duo E8200?

Thanks.

Of the PSUs you listed, it seems the way to go

Do you think this OCZ one would be OK?

For a single 86000GT, the OCZ PSU will do fine. It provides plenty of power. Like Spuddyt said, if you were doing a SLI setup, it would be a bit short, for for one card, its just right.

I might put the 700w version in for a bit of extra power. Thanks for the replies.
