I installed a New Radeon HD 2600XT yesterday and tried to place my Computer into Stand By mode prior to going to bed. It goes into it blinks off for a sec then immediately comes back out.
All research has lead me to believe this a driver issue, but what do I need to download to resolve. (BTW: XP Sp3)
I installed all the latest versions, but apparently not the greatest.
On a side note:
The other night my computer went into standby mode by itself after the appropriate time. I woke it up and was able to put it back into stand by several more times. However after a restart since then it is no again not going into stand by.
Here are driver/cat details:
Driver Packaging Version 8.493-080512a-063030C-ATI
Catalyst® Version 08.5
Provider ATI Technologies Inc.
2D Driver Version 6.14.10.6806
2D Driver File Path System/CurrentControlSet/Control/Video/{262305DE-2F84-48E2-8FFC-4B39962CEF69}/0000

OpenGL Version 6.14.10.7537
Catalyst® Control Center Version 2008.0512.1133.18639
AIW/VIVO WDM Driver Version 6.14.10.6238
AIW/VIVO WDM SP Driver Version 6.14.10.6238
Any help is appreicated!
Thanks,
Mike
