Motherboard Fiasco

Hey all you hardware geeks please help me

I ntend to buy a motherboard i use DDR2 memory which boar i should go for :

MSI X48C Platinum or Asus Maximus Formula(X38)

The Asus Maximus Formula is rock solid. Also it can have an Asus Rampage Formula (Intel X48/DDR2) BIOS flashed onto it which adds more features. Also the Asus Rampage Formula is only marginally more expensive than the Asus Maximus Formula so its worth looking at.
