will it also be 80% more expensive? If it was 40% higher performance, they would probably raise the price to the thousands. After all the gtx 280 usually performed less that 20% better than the gtx 260, in most reviews (and cost 40% more!) Thus, logically if the 280 gts performed 40% better, it would be 80% more expensive. In other words, based on the current price to performance trend, the gts 280 would cost $1170. I'm sure LOTS of people would pay that much. lol. And yes i know that the thread topic is a joke. I'm just saying if it was true, the price would probably be outrageous.
