what would be better to do buy 2 VelociRaptor 300GB 10,000rpm SATA II and raid them togetter in raid 0 or get 2 Kingston V-Series SSD 128Gb and raid them together in raid 0 there both the same price right now

Asus rampage ll Extreme motherboard

Intel Coreā„¢ i7 Processor 975 Extreme Edition 3.33GHz w/ 8MB Cache

6 gigs of ddr3 ram 1600 mhz Corsair 6GB DOMINATOR PC3-12800 C7 Triple Channel DDR3 Kit (3 x 2GB) w/ Intel XMP

THERMALTAKE Toughpower 1200W Modular Power Supply

3 Serial ATA Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200.12 SATA II w/ 32MB Cache

Zalman CNPS9900 LED CPU Cooler

ANTEC Twelve Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case


3 hard drives 3 terabyte's of hard drive space but my computer take so long to boot up because i am useing 7200 rpm hard drives so now I am looking at going one of the two ways buy 2 VelociRaptor or buy 2 Kingston V-Series SSD would would the better pick out of these two also I keep heading about this J controler and some pleace tell me more on this Thanks

The SSDs are a better choice over the Raptors...
And you should be looking for faster SSDs than Larger ones as speed matter more than space in your case...
And if all those drives that you have are similar, then put 2 of them in RAID 0 for data and keep 1 for backup...

SSD's of course is better choice.
If You can afford i7 975 You should be really looking at better SSD's like OCZ Vertex or Intel X25-M
