Hi, I'm from Chile and I wanted to buy RAM memory. All of these OCZ's are roughly the same price but I just can't tell the difference between them and so I can't know which one to choose!

If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it! :)

Hello and welcome to the forums mate :)
All of those RAMs have same timings and same speed, the differences between them is their voltages and some advertisings(like FATAL1TY and SLI ready memory which aren't important)

I recommend neither of them,i say go for a DDR2 800 RAM with 4-4-4x or lower timings because the difference between DDR2 800 and 1066 isnt much and DDR2 800 OC's very good too.

Even if the DDR2 are priced the same as the 1066?

Sorry, if the DDR2 800 are priced the same as the 1066.

What do you think about this memory? Is it good for overclocking?

(It's about the same price as the OCZ's I posted before)

Cheers!

Jeez :o , sorry about that :pt1cable:

Here you go (thanks a lot for the help, too!)

This is it from the manufacturers website:
http://www.mushkin.com/doc/product [...] asp?id=656

And here from the store I'll buy it in Santiago:

And here's the other one I'm considering, which I already posted up there, but just for reference:

Manufacturer:
http://www.ocztechnology.com/produ [...] al_channel

Store in chile:
http://www.bymcomputer.cl/catalog/ [...] 9738957e72

They are the same price (even the OCZ is cheaper).

... apart from this, this guy at a forum here in chile posted that these OCZ memory revisions they were bringing here weren't good, but... I don't know if to trust him, he didn't give any details and I don't know if the revision thing even happens.

Cheers again!

You are comparing a Mushkin DDR2 800 with an OCZ DDR2 1066 which isnt fair :D
But i say go for the DDR2 800 one because the difference between DDR2 800 and 1066 isnt much and DDR2 800 OCs very well too and has lower timings.

Glad i could help u mate :)

Thank U mate!!!

Cheers!

I was thinking the same thing. :D

One last thing - why is it unfair to compare mushkin 800 with ocz 1066? because of the speeds or because of the manufacturer?

Cheers again!

Because of speed :) its not fair to compare a DDR2 800 with 1066.
For me i always like lower timings so i would go for DDR2 800.

No problems mate :) glad i could help u :)
