MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum

I'm thinking about getting this board as an upgrade from a K9N Neo with nForce 550 chipset. It's $130 from Newegg after $15 mail in rebate. Does anyone have any experience with this board or the 750a chipset, if so, what do you think? Also, can anyone tell me what the difference is between PCIex16 and PCIex16 2.0? Thanks!

I think you'll find that MBs with Intel P-series chipsets are more robust and have fewer driver issues.

I cant help about the mobo but the main difference in pci 2.0 is that it doubles the bandwith availble to the card and it can gives up to 150W of power from the slot (75w with pcie 16x).

And say why you want to upgrade else people won't be able to give you good answers.

Alright, for the reasons I want to upgrade: Right now I have an AMD 5600+ cpu which I like and want to keep, but I like the AM2+ support of this motherboard, as well as the 1066 memory support (if I end up getting a phenom), also I want SLI, and finally I've had good experience with MSI in the past so I figure I'll stick with them for now. Mainly I want a board that will allow me lots of room for future upgrades but will support all my current components (the cpu I mentioned, as well as 9600gt which I guess will benefit from the pcie 2.0) and ddr800 ram.
