Along with the 2000W PSU, they should consider tossing in a Generator you can hook your PC up to directly. Otherwise, the Circuit Breaker in the house might be flapping faster than a humming birds wings.

Um.... read on it says it was practical joke by someone with too much time on their hands. Although, the free 2000W power suppy would be cool to have!!!

Citation :What you should understand from all of above is that NVIDIA isn't actually planning to release a GeForce GTX 280 GX2 card anytime soon and that a free 2000W PSU handed out for a graphics card is anything but real.

I believe it was actually David Hannum that said, "There's a sucker born every minute."

& they should be on 55 nm rite?

On 55 nm this would actually be very possible.

If memory serves, there are no 2000w power supplies out there, at least any designed for ATX systems... I think they cap out around 1000-1100w right now.

As far as the pictures... It was kinda a giveaway when I noticed that the card shown had what appeared to be 10 VRAM chips showing on that side; the GTX 280 has 16 chips, and the 260 14; a dual-GPU setup would mean that it would likely have an equal number on the back side, for only 10 per GPU.

The last giveaway was that I only saw a single 8-pin plus a 6-pin power connector. ;)

Yea I have been thinking that when the downsize the die to 55nm that they will put 2 of those into a GX2 model, but I think that they will use the GTX260 on the 55nm process. I have no doubt that a card will release that is in GX2 form (even though some people believe they wont) I think this is the route that will be taken. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Your memory does not serve you! lol, though the biggest that I know of personally that fits inside of most cases is a 1350w.

You had to analyze all that to figure it out? The damn thing is like 30% longer than the next longest card out there.
