Hello,
When I run crysis benchmark I look at the memory and see that crysis is using about 1600MB of my DDR3 OCZ RAM which is 2GB. I think thats way too much. My crysis crashes at least once every session I play it so I was wondering if maybe that the RAM was causing it to crash. Do I need more, or is 1600MB normal for crysis. Otherwise I think the crashing might be caused because drivers aren't very mature yet and I still haven' gotten the 1.2 version of crysis.
Thanks,
Zman
I've never looked at exactly howmuch memory Crysis eats up on my computer (I used to play it with 2GB also), but I'd assume as big of a resource pig as it is, 1600MB is probably normal.

Patch to 1.21; the origional version had a memory leak, and it sounds like that is whats happening to you. You should ALWAYS patch a game if one is avaliable.
Yes - Crysis uses lots of memory.. If you had more, it could use that too.
