Hi all, need someone to explain which is important for gaming.

1) Transfer rate
2) Access time
3) I/O performance

Which are more important for gaming?

I'm planning to have 2x500BG (or 640GB) hard drives. i have ruled out SSD/Raptor/RAID config for various reasons.

Now choosing between Western Digital Black caviar/ Seagate Barracuda / Hitachi.

I read somewhere Seagate good for transfer rate while WD good for access time and I/O performance.
