when I shrink website pages or programs (Documents) they do not shrink and
appear on the taskbar ready to be reopened. I have right clicked on the
taskbar and changed to every setting possible also I have matched settings in
my wife's account (which is working fine). Also I have gone into the control
panel to appearances and themes then to start menu & taskbar properties.
still not working. please help? and keep it simple. thanks

One of your taskbar registry keys is incorrect. MVP Kelly Theriot has an
automated fix for this on her website. Look for "Programs Aren't Minimized
to the Taskbar" in the left hand column (line 240):
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

The fix is in .VBS form. Read the directions at the top of the page for
downloading and using.
