Upgrade vista to 7

Hello,
I just replaced a bad motherboard and the new one I just installed does not support Vista. When Windows starts I get the blue screen. How can I upgrade Vista 64bit to 7 64bit without being able to boot up?

The problem is likely less that Vista doesn't support the new motherboard as you have all the old drivers still installed, and Windows is crashing when it tries to load them.

However, you should be able to just boot from the Windows 7 DVD and do a clean install. Along the line it may ask you for proof of a qualifying upgrade product, so you just pop in your Vista DVD, and you should be good to go.
