Anyone knwos anything about radiators for Watercooling? im planing to install a brand new water cooling custom kit and when searching a radiator i didnt find any reviews or so about them.
Well, Conumdrum is our resident expert on WCing and I'm sure he will reply to your post, but until then you may want to post a little more info about your system to give everyone an idea of what you are trying to cool.
Hmm didnt give it that much thought: Q6600 on rampage formula, currently running o a kandalf LCS case with the stock watercolling in it. My plan is to get a Laieng D5 Rev.2 (1500L/H), a ek supreme/swiftech GTZ/D-tek fuzion, using the radiator in the kandalf case at front door, then going to a small rad, then to the NB (if possible i stick with the rest of the heatsinks if not i guess ill have to add SB+mosfets+Vram in the loop), that going to a deposit in a 5,25 drive bay at the top of the case (dont want a external deposit and all places says it should be on top of the loop).
So basicly a rad for NB only or NB SB mosf Vram. Pland OC should be around 3.6-4.0 GHZ, GPUs wont be in loop, they are 4850s with a thermaltake duorbs in crossfire.
Yes very hot, i live in madrid, at tops we reach 45C ambient, but normaly by then i got air conditioner on... still its possible that more than once this temp would be present.

Okay, here is a link on rad testing and stores in EU.
The Thermochill, Feser, XSPC rads are thick, low fin density and very good.
The MCR rads by Swiftech Are a great solution at much less the price.
The Black Ice Xtreme (known as BIX) rads are thin and have very high fin spacing.
All three cool pretty good. The top choices can do it with quite fans, the MCR rads with meduim fans, and the BIX rads NEED loud high CFM fans.
Your going to cool the Q6600, NB/SB/Mosfets. The Q6600/NB needs a 220 sized rad. You add the SB and Mosfets in and being in a HOT ambient at times, you'll need a 320 sized rad for sure.
Adding all of that into a loop you better go with a low restriction CPU block. The GTZ is a decent choice. The EK will not work in that loop, it's high flow restriction.

Edit: The next paragraph was from 2008. With the advent of the HOT i7 and bigger GPU's, it has changed. A 220 size MIN rad for an i7, you want big overclocks, better go 320 sized rad.

IF you just cool your CPU and your NB if you want, you can get by with a 120.2 sized radiator (RAD). And MAYBE fit in inside depending on your mod skillz. You want to cool your GPU too, you'll need a 120.3 sized rad, and it probably won't fit inside. The rear external rad really works great. No matter what your adding 10lbs to your PC.
Once you got an idea of what is good/bad then start getting your system for WC put together and we'll be glad to help.
the CPU has a 320 Rad for its own (kandalf LCS case comes with a Rad dual pass, mostly aluminium rad,not great but its huge so i guess should work) One thing thats really pissing me off is the diffrent sizes of the tubes, pups etc, i mean the laieng is 1/2 MACHO (huh?) tube is 10 to 12 MM, my kandalf LCS is 3/8 (9.5mm), ETC,what kind of connectors am i going to need to fit it all togheter? i send you here webpages of the components i really liked, if u can tell me your opinion on them id be gratefull:
Finally i investigated about the if i can install ONLY the NB block as i said id save about 100 Euro, now i studied the rampage formula and it seems the heatpipe is like inside the heatsink so if i remove the heatsink the heatpipe will be a bit over the NB withought touching it. Do u know any NB block meant for the rampage formula?

And thx for info links, most were very usefull, but im still afraid on what to actually buy, especially cus i dont know if there is a way to connect the NB waterblock to the heatsink of the rampage formula.
Final idea, do those mosfet/SB NB waterblocks come with no srews? i mean both for conection to tubes as to mobo, and if so, i just buy them?

Well, I won't recommend anything but getting rid of that rad and go with 1/2 or 7/16 ID tubing. The rad is a poor performer, is not very flow freindly and, well, that's my option. You will need all the flow rate you can get cooling that setup.
Just spend some time reading etc. All blocks come with mounting hardware made for the board.

Any ways, listen to Conumdrum. He'll steer you in the right direction. If he becomes a little aggressive don't take it personally. That's just how he is (no offense to you Conumdrum; but some might call some of your posts aggressive,etc).
@OP: Are you the modding type? If so a heater core might be for you.

I remember running across that 9x120 rad on FrozenCPU one day...that thing is a monster. I could see a few applications where that would be a worthwhile investment and it would be nice to see it placed in test setups against most common rad setups...including dual rad configs on some hot hardware [i7, Tri-SLI, etc] to see what performance looks like.
