Looks like a good setup. You're pretty well futureproofed with that rig.

I think you should swap that Motherboard out for this:

With that, you get both SLI AND Xfire.

Don't worry about HDD. You should really take a look at Solid State Drives... real bang for the bucks.

I wish my rig was that awesome. I am still running a Sempron 2800+ S754 with an 8400gs.

Why waste money on FX-74s? Just get two FX-70's, they overclock better too. The magic voltage for OCing is 2.3V.

Yes. This should be an awesome QUAD FX setup. Do you think the Huntkey 450W power supply I ordered with it will be enough to keep it all powered up reliably?

I think 450W is too little. Maybe you should look at one of these:

Ummm.... 450w...... Imma go with no since the CPUs themselves take more than half that when under load :P

That and wow they still charge that much per CPU?

I compromised! I ordered two FX 72s and I will overclock them to the 3GHZ of the FX 74. This setup should destroy anything else out there.

I do not know why you are going for Server mobo
But stay away from Skulltrail mobo Intel BOXD5400XS
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] ll%2btrail
And with this setup I was expecting to see 8G RAM not 2G only !!!

Well fine then. I'll get the 2000W power supply if you think that is best. I'd hate to run out of power and have an unstable system.

It is not a server motherboard, it is a motherboard for the QUAD FX platform for megatasking.

A sweet system like that would really fly for when you are encoding any home movies. but I do think you should go with at least 3gb of ram....just buy another stick and put it in.
