How to convert internal to External Blu-Ray burner box

:hello: I have two internal Blu-Ray burner/readers. I am 100% Mac Pro/Intel/Snow Leopard. I would like to change one of the internals to an external FW800 drive if possible and would be very grateful for a spelled-out process written for a complete dummy (just to be sure I don't miss anything). Also interested in using said box as a eSata box with a card for the Mac Pro (if one exists) that has an external eSata port.

any thoughts? :o
