How to increase RAID 1 volume size?

Want to increase my Dell XPS Studio Raid 1 size from 500gb to 1tb - how do I do this???

For RAID 1, you will need to get 2 1tb drives to get a usable storage space of 1tb. This is because RAID 1 uses 100% redundancy.
