What do you think about this PC? I am on a $600 budget i don't really game, but i want to like once every two weeks or something. I do the basic stuff like chat, download music and movies, surf, etc.

Wrong board for a non-gaming build. Look at IP35-E. If you don't overclock, any P31/G31/G33/G35 board is fine.

The most important thing really isn't how often you game but what games do you play and the quality you expect. I only game for about 4 hours a week but i want that 4 hours to be stunning.

wish i had a link but search for toms hardware 500 dollar pc gaming guide and start there.
