Hey guys,

I'm new here and i'm a first time builder. I already have the following purchased from newegg and ready for action:

-Antec Sonata iii 500 ATX Case (500wtt PSU)

EVGA 8800gt Superclocked 512mb

-Intel q6600 2.4ghz(I plan to overclock that to at least 3.0ghz)

-CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

-Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

-Seagate Barracuda 250gb HD

-LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner With 12X DVD-RAM

-ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler

-Acer AL1916WAbd Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor

Ok.. Now there's something missing. The motherboard. I've been really having a hard time choosing just the right motherboard.

I would like to game alot (Crysis, Battlefield 2, Team Fortress, etc) . I also would like to overclock my quad core to at least 3.0ghz.

Oh by the way, none of this is set up yet. It's just laying beautifully in my bedroom and I love to dream about it. :D

I've come to you guys with all my appreciation to help me decide what mobo is right for me.

I came across this but am not sure if it's right: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813131297

I'm kind of on a $200 budget too...

Thanks!

choose whichever p45 board you

I'd go with the radeon 4850 over the 8800gt... its faster

and since you were looking to go p45 with ati you have the option to go xfire down the line

p5q-e or p5q deluxe.

Ok thanks guys, but whats the difference between these two mobos?

And I thought the 8800gt was the best "Bang for your buck"?

I've never done ATi before so i'm a little skeptical...

if your willing to spend a little more, for an X48 (future expandability aka CFx) although you have an 8800GT but, a X48 DS4 i believe is like $229
