hi everyone
I was wondering what cases you guys would recommend in terms of 3 things:
1 price
2 functionality
3 and of course looks

What price range?
Basic case is $50-80
Better case with more features, design, and quality is $80-120
Real good case $120+

PLease tell what features are more or less important:
Price
Overall quality
Appearance
Quietness

What features do you want? Required or just nice to have?
Number of internal hard drives
External drives
Special external connections? eg Front USB or Audio or eSata or Firewire

Go look at some cases and report which you like just from a style point of view - there is quite a variety and it is very subjective

Just from a standpoint of quiet and good quality - the Antec Solo III (comes with PSU) $80-140), and Antec P180 or P182 ($100-140)
More basic cases - simple design Coolmaster Centurion 5 ($50), Coolmaster Centurion 590 $60), Coolermaster 690 ($85-110)
Gamer basic case - Antec 900 - ($70-110)

But there are lots of others and the choice is very subjective.

ok lets say price is less than $160
build quality i of great importance followed by appearance
i was basically just looking for peoples opinions on what is a great case, or what their favorite case is

Ok - for less than $160 I would go with Antec P182. High quality, excellent airflow, and very low noise. I like its appearance too - the classic simplicity. But then for many this would be way too plain.
My only regret is that it does not have eSata on the front and this will be a basic requirement for my next system.

Coolermaster cm690 is the best case below $100!
or Antec 900 ofr something a little higher.

Antec Twelve Hundred is a beast. About 200 bucks for it, but it is bad ass!
