hi,
i work with dell 2707 27" & samsung 17" as a secondary screen.
i multi task a lot but also play games a lot.
currently i'm using the same VGA card for both monitors.
if i'll but a very cheap VGA card for the secondary monitor, will games improve in preformance a lot?

while gaming at the secondary screen i get data of temps, fans speed, Vcore etc...

i thought of buying a new VGA card, 4870 or GTX 280, i'll c next week when the 4870 will come out.

for the secondary i thought about 2600pro or 3650 or something really cheap...

with dual VGA card- will it be better to use the 2 ATIs or 2 Nvidia than 1 ATI & 1 NVIDIA?
i won't CF/SLI them.

the mobo is ep45-ds3r/ds4

thanks.

pls do mention the rest of ur configuration..

Although I think that just ONE 4850/4870/9800/GTX260 will take care of all ur needs, it really depends on the kind of games u r playin.. If by chance u r playing Crysis,(it is a notoriously power-hungry game!), u shud be fine with just 1 card..

if i crossfire or SLI- can i work with 2 monitors?!?!?
it's a big factor when choosing a VGA card....
2x4850 can do the job of gtx260/280, but if i can't use 2 monitors it sucks!
