I'm looking for a second HD for more storage space (next to my Spinpoint F1) and was thinking to get this new revision from Samsung. I couldn't find any review yet. Does anyone have any experiences with this drive?

Personally no. But if your Spinpoint F1 hasn't failed you, then it's reasonable assume the refresh version won't either.

What i read in some comment fields and the press release was that the new version is faster (the f1 faires still pretty well) but I heard it would be louder, so I wanted to get some user opinions on that. Maybe someone actually tested it and can give concrete advice.
