How do i remove write protection from a usb memory stick

I cant delete or add new files to the USB. Every time I tried to copy files or remove files from the USB, a message appears "Disk write protect". It still has 3 Gb free memory. How can I remove the write protect from said USB?

Are you sure that the card is still good? That sounds like the kind of symptoms you would expect from a flash based storage device that has simply worn out.
