I am using my second set of dual layer disks(TDK DVD+R 8.5gig) and recording appears to go fine -reaches 100% then when the drawer usually opens it gives a recording failed with ATAPI code 55052c00.
If I use 4.7 gig disks - no problems.
I have uninstalled Nero abd INCD
Any suggestions, first thought it was the disks, thus the purchase of second brand. This is getting expensive

What other burning software have you tried? You should also check if all your device drivers—specifically the on for your drive—is updated.
