I've just bought another HDD which I want to install the OS on but for some reason it won't read the disk. Even when I'm in Windows and I insert the disk its like it doesn't recognise it. The drive is fine as it plays other CD/DVDs and I tried the Boot disk in a laptop and it works. Any ideas what could cause this?

Turn't out it was the DVD drive. Bought a new one and it works.
