Replaced the Hard drive and it wont boot up

Hello,I have replaced my hard drive and I cant get it to boot up now.My old drive crashed(60 Gb) and I bought a new one(400 Gb)it will start and act like its going to boot but shuts off part way through

You need to make sure the correct interface (SATA or IDE) is enabled in the BIOS.

If you're using a SATA drive, you need XP SP2 or SP3.

You need to set the CD/DVD drive as the first boot device, and boot off the XP disc.
