I droped my 500 gig hard drive and it makes a strange noise when i turn it on and it dosent work.
my 500 gig is almost full and i dont want to loose my info. can it be repared???

Take the hard drive out and try hooking it directly to a computer.
If it's recognized in the bios, there is hope.
