Ok, so basically i'm building a new computer for gaming. The only catch is my budget is small. I have a budget of well... as cheap as possible.

CASE - http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=24294

RAM - http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=25228

MOBO - http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=27771

DVD Drive - Whatever, doesn't matter.

Hard Drive - http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=25667

CPU - http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=26610
OR C2D E6300 1.86 GHZ

I'm not sure which CPU best fits my MOBO, or if I should just get a new mobo.

VIdeo Card - 8800 GT 512 MB

WEll, thats the system I was thinking about, if you guys could help me out by giving me some advice on some cheaper parts, or if I bottlenecked myself somewhere. By all means, point it out!!

Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming you're in Canada, because you use NCIX.

Guys, don't give him Newegg links, they won't ship to him.

Go here:
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=29705&vpn=GA-EP35-DS3L&manufacture=Gigabyte&promoId=1020
and get the GA-EP35-DS3L with the Sonata 3 combo. Don't forget that promoId, I added it from a junk mail NCIX sends me, it saves you $10 on the motherboard.

Burner: get a SH-S203B

CPU: E8400. Don't forget the promoId again, it saves you $40.57 :)
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=27784&vpn=BX80570E8400&manufacture=Intel&promoId=1020

Video: - another $22 saved through the promoId
BFG 8800GT, $163
http://www.ncix.com/products/index....n=BX80570E8400&manufacture=Intel&promoId=1020

Even better:
BFG 8800GTS 512MB, $199 (Save $35 thanks to promoId)
http://www.ncix.com/products/index....TSE&manufacture=BFG Technologies&promoId=1020

I strongly recommend you get the GTS 512MB, because it's faster and because ithas a dual-slot cooler. With a dual-slot cooler, the heat gets out of the case directly. The Antec Sonata is not designed for a hot card like the 8800GT to work with a single-slot cooler that leaves the heat inside the case.

Edit: I just checked, the promoId ends today, so hurry.

Wow. That's an expensive mofo. I mean mobo. Repeat, mofo. Get the P35 & E1200 x2. Overclock it to 3ghz. For $150. Beat that. My family pc is made of the same combo. Same 3ghz. Crap ocz ram.

You missed out the $100 9600GT OEM deal. Not the fastest card, but for $100, it's the best.
