Name of Ram slot on motherboard? it is PCI or DIMM?

Well if your using DDR2 memory the slot would be called a DDR2 module slot officially or DDR2 slot for short. SD-RAM would use a SD-RAM module slot. I'm sure your getting the idea by now :p

well, i have some idea to your question.

DIMM is a type of RAM slots and PCI is a type of expansion slots
i remember that there are three types of RAM slot,
They are SIMM, DIMM, and RIMM.
-SIMM slot use for SIMM Ram (old version)
-DIMM slot uses for SDRAM and DDR Ram (DDR1,DDR2....)
-RIMM slot uses for Rambus RAM

And about Expansion Slot, there are three types.
-ISA
-PCI
-AGP (for Video card only)
