  1. if you can afford a 8800gts that would be nice, or wait to see what the new cards will look like, otherwise it looks nice, you dont need the thermal compound
    i assume you have monitor speakers os ...
  2. your 8800GT is already solid I wouldn't stress on getting the GTS. One thing I did notice you didn't have was a sound card. You would definately want one if you are gaming.

    Most people say onboard sound is plenty good for gaming unless you are using really good speakers and since he's on a 1k budget I don't think a sound card would be necessary.

    i do have a pair of bose around ear headphones that i will probally use for sound

    also i was gonna pick up a 24 inch specter or w.e at costco its cheaper that newegg

    Every tining looks good! If possible grab a 7200.11 HDD, which is almost as fast as the Raptor.

    Also swap the Freezer Pro to: XIGMATEK -S1283

  10. go for the kds one not the specter they are less likely to have stuck pixels etc.
