Hello, I have just bought a new graphics card and want to install my old one, a PNY 8500GT, into my girlfriends Acer Aspire T180. I am very technically inclined, however this problem baffles me. The option to change the video device in the BIOS is grayed out. It is called Init Disply First, but it is grayed out on Onbaord Video. I have scoured the net looking for info on how to change this setting and it all says the same thing, to change the Init Display First value, which I can't do due to it being unselectable. I have not tried resetting default values yet, as I seen somewhere that it is supposed to default to PCI Express, nor have I tried clearing the BIOS. I would like to get some advice on this matter from somebody who may be familiar with this problem before I go and do anything desperate like the above mentioned stab in the darks. Thank you in advance for your help.

By the way, The BIOS info is as follows:

Phoenix - Award Workstation BIOS
System BIOS Version 6.00 PG
SMBIOS Version 2.3
System BIOS ID R01-B3
BIOS Release Date February 7, 2007
