I just buyed a P5Q to push a lil further my OC. I dont know if anybody reached over 4.0 with a E6xxx without using over 1.45Vcore (after Vdrop).

There is my current config.

P5Q FS1600 (with the gold heat sink)
LAPPED E6850
Apogee GT (complete swiftech cooling kit)
4g Gskill Pi-Black DDR2 800.
PC P&C 750W silencer
BFG GTX285 OC2

With my "old" P5N32e-SLI i was running 3.6 but the chipset dont want to go any higher (400x9). Was able to run the RAM @ 900 4-4-4-12 1T without any fail.

This morning before going to work ( where i am currently ) i booted @ 3960 opened CPU-z , OCCT, 3dmark06 and took a screenshot. Started OCCT and crashed after less than a minute.

(those spec are what i can remember)
FSB : 440mhz
RAM : 880mhz 4-4-4-12 (tryed 5-5-5-18 without change so ram is not the issue)
Vcore : 1.456 (bios)
PLL : 1.5
NB : 1.4
SB : 1.2
RAM : 1.92 ( rated for 1.8-1.9 ) was running fine @ 900 with my last rig.

I think the Vcore is the thing i need to get up but i dont really want to see over 1.45 after Vdrop.

Cant remember other settings right now since its a complete new MOBO for me (installed it last night).

Anyone have a similar rig and/or one give me some clue about the P5Q. needed V to acheive 4.0 ( 444 fsb ) nb-sb-pll and others.

THX alot ! ill leave some feeback about 3dmark06 and other as soon as i make it stable over 3.6 ;)

EDIT 1 : Im googling it. found some nice reviews with OC test. i think i might be able to reach 4.0 stable.
