Hp deskjet 1000 compatible printer driver for windows 7

Any one have any helpful ideas? I've looked everywhere on line I can think of and nothing seems to work.

It comes up with 3 different models for deskjet 1000, you need to figure out which one you got and get those drivers. If it's the first 2, then there's obviously no win7 drivers, you can try the 64bit drivers for xp but I doubt they'll work. If a generic windows driver doesn't work for your printer, face it, it's time to get a new printer. win95 came out in... '95. I'm sure a 10 year old printer cannot compare to today's printers in terms of efficiency, quality or speed. On top of that I have no idea how much you're probably overpaying to get ink for it.
