Backup for Compaq with Windows XP

Hello, How can I backup my files on my Compaq that uses windows XP?

many many many different ways. Are you looking for an automated way or a manual way?

Easiest is to get an external drive and just copy the files you want backed up to it periodically. Windows also has a backup utility that you can configure to back up automatically but that creates a special file rather than copying the files themselves. Also many external drives come with their own backup programs you can use.
