i just bought this router and p2p has gone from perfect to annoying.

first of all, is there a way to turn the router into a "hose" to the modem and let him handle everything? kind of bridge between the modem and the pc?
i dont care about security at all, all i want is my p2p to work as well with the router as without.

all im talking about is using the router with one pc most of the time. the other is so rearly used i dont care that in whatever setup i do it will screw up p2p.
i just want it to work perfectly when one pc is on.

any ideas?

Put the p2p pc in the dmz zone. This zone is not firewalled at all leaving it wide open to the internet.
You would be better finding out how to open up the port your p2p program uses. Read the manual it tells you how to do this.
Also make sure the windows firewall is either off or allowing that port.
