Recently all my games, even really old ones such as Warcraft III and BFME2 have been crashing and my monitor going to "Power Saving mode", it doesn't go to Desktop and i have to hold down the power button to re boot it. This is weird, i use to be able to run these games on the highest settings with smooth results, Ive also been able to play Arma 2 on medium/high settings.
It first happened a few months back on WoW, i was logging in and all of a sudden my computer crashed. As this was the first time, i didn't really think anything of it.
Then i loaded it back up, same result. Uninstalled it, Re-installed it, same result.
Loaded up all my other games they also crashed. Ive kept my computer drivers up to date, as well as Windows itself. Ive done full system scans, using malware bytes, spy bot search and destroy, McAfee antivirus etc etc; and got rid of any infected files on my system.
I've even done a clean restart of my Windows, back to factory settings. But still the same error is occurring.
I even switched the visual settings on Warcraft III to the bottom and it still crashed. I've been searching all over the internet, and even though there is similar errors, i cant seem to find anyone with the same error I'm having.
I loaded up administrative tools, looked at event viewer as soon as i rebooted from the same error, and all i can find is a lot of 4385 and 4375 event IDs and the source is servicing.
My system specs are :
Windows Vista, Home Premium (6.0 Build 6000)
Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
Intel Core 2 CPU 640 @ 2.13GHz
