depending on the gpu.... i would say no less then 750 to a 1kwatt if you have a high end gpu setup if you just have like a 4850 you could probly go with an 750 to 850 watt.

of course this depends on the efficentcy of the PSU maybe look at something like this...

and this for a higher GPU

oh and make sure it has all the leads you need (i forgot to add the 1kwatt oops edit)

hope this helps

My comment in your other thread was that Apevia was on the "Do not buy" tier of a dated list, however your model post-dates the list and you wouldn't be stressing it (although you mentioned a single GPU in that thread).
If I were going to replace it though, I would find one that is 80%+ certified for efficiency, has Active PFC, and is a model either already on tier-2 or better of the list at http://www.tomswiki.com/page/Tiere [...] ngs?t=anon, OR is unlisted specifically but whose manufacturer has all of their models listed at tier-3 or better. If you think you might do SLI of high-end cards, then 750W-800W is a good size. For one card, 600W is sufficient.

There is ALWAYS a drone. Exactly where, or how many drones you will encounter may vary, but that there will be at least one will not.

That Corsair PSU Rammar linked would be an excellent choice.

+1 for the 750TX if we're talking about a single GTX 260, GTX280, 9800GX2, HD 3870X2 or HD 4870X2, or about two 9800GTX or two 8800GTS cards.

For two 9800GX2, two GTX 260, two GTX280 or three 9800GTX, I'd say Corsair 1000HX.

For three GTX 260 or three GTX 280, Toughpower 1200W or TurboCool 1200W.

lol, yeah. I'd hate to have it break 2 years from now though. It's still returnable, so better to swap it now while I can. Thanks.

It looks like I will be going with the Thermaltake 1000 or Corsair 1000, 1st and 2nd links. Third option is Thermaltake 850. Any thoughts on Thermaltake vs Corsair?
