Has anyone seen the samsung 305T+ ? The 305T has a very good review in trustedreviews, but the newer 305T+ seems really different, with lower luminance (300 cd/m² vs. 400 cd/m²), and no other info from samsung about the product evolution. I need someone who actually saw the 305T+ and could judge its display quality.

I have one in front of me. I can't seem to get in and my Dell Precision M4400 to get into high resolution (2560x1600). Both are to support it, but it only seems to show 1280x800.

simple reason why it doesn't show higher than 1280x800 (single link format) it's half of 2560 x 1600 (dual link format). that's the monitors highest resolution

explanation of single and dual links...

WHAT ARE SINGLE AND DUAL LINKS ?
The Digital formats are available in DVI-D Single-Link and Dual-Link as well as DVI-I Single-Link and Dual-Link format connectors. These DVI cables send information using a digital information format called TMDS (transition minimized differential signaling). Single link cables use one TMDS 165Mhz transmitter, while dual links use two. The dual link DVI pins effectively double the power of transmission and provide an increase of speed and signal quality; i.e. a DVI single link 60-Hz LCD can display a resolution of 1920 x 1200, while a DVI dual link can display a resolution of 2560 x 1600.
