Windows 7 display new hard drive in my computer

I have a genuine copy of Windows 7 that I loaded only two days ago. I have come to add a new Samsung 1.5tb hard drive and it appears in Device Manager and I was able to format it and make it active in control panel, administrative tools, storage devices but I cannot see it in My Computer. What have I missed?

No I didn't, I hardly got a chance to try much of anything as it crashed my Win7 install and it took me hours to get it restarted. I ended up putting it in an external caddy as well as my other three hard drive and is running sweet. A lesson for me is don't try to load Win 7 on a machine that has multiple hard drives. Thanks for your interest and input.
