A quick question regarding setting up an SLI. On an exsisting system, Is it as simple as popping the second card in, attaching the bridge, and turning SLi on in the driver, or is there something special I need to do?
Ive got a second 8800GT coming in this afternoon and Im hoping to be enjoying Crysis with good frame rates ASAP.
should be that simple, even with my ancient crossfire system you can do it on the fly with the system running just by how i connect them up to my monitor. so should be the case of just shoving it and connecting the power.

You may have to un install and then re install the driver but other than that it should be a doddle.
When I installed my second card all I did was.....
1. Shut it down
2. Open it up
3. Insert the card
4. Connect the bridge and power cable
5. Boot it up
6. Go into nVidia's control panel and enable SLI
7. Wait for the screen flash, and approve settings
8. Button up the case
9. Game!
