Yeah i've heard you canoverclock the proccessor but amfairly new to all the technical stuff so Idon't know how to mate. It's running at the standard 2.4gz so what would you advise overclocking it as i still have the standard Intel fan.

Since you'll need to keep your overclocked Q6600 cool, the 8800 GT is a poor choice, since it recirculates heat in your case. The better choice is an 8800 GTS 512, as it has dual slot rear exhaust which will keep the inside of your case cool.

Won't a Zalman fan ridicule the overheating problem? Yeah i'll take a look at that guide mate. I'm all for learning as much as I can about the in's and out's and what all the terms mean. It's embarrasing i'm 22 and my 16 year old bro woops my arse at the ins and outs of the workings of pcs, shame on me.

Thanks for your help mate "thumbs up"
