Win XP Issue! help! Cant open anything!
Last response: in Windows XP
hey.Im running windows XP on my main computer.The desktop isnt showing up only the background and i have browsed through this site and there are many solutions to my problem but they all require task manager or some other.With my problem i cant open anything at all Ctrl+alt+delete does not work neither does any other key combination.
Is there anyway to fix this??? PLEASE HELP.thanks in advance

Try booting into safe mode. Ctrl+alt+delete-->open the task manager-->file-->new task-->type explorer.exe and press enter.
If that doesn't work, you'll likely need to do a windows repair.
